Use of access keys depends on browser type:

Miscrosoft Internet Explorer v 5 and Above: hold down 'Alt' and tap the letter or number, release, then press the 'Enter' key.
Microsoft Internet Explorer v 4: press 'Alt' and tap the letter or number.
Netscape v 6 or above: hold down 'Alt' and tap the letter or number.

This function is not currently supported by Opera, version of Netscape before v 6 or versions of MS Internet Explorer before v 4.
